Hampton has been making dental units since 1955. Dr Harris made one for his senior clinic at Kansas City and used it for two (2) years in his dental practice. Hampton has been solving dental unit problems to make them simpler, lighter, trouble free, and inexpensive ever since. Beautiful form follows function.
The tabletop unit weighs 7.25 pounds, 6x6x13 inches. It isa ideal as a backup, for hospital calls, house calls, and for missionaries. It will fit in most suit cases along with practically everything you need including suction, instruments, and filling material. A $10 large lightweight plastic case from K-Mart also work very well.
The unit has nonbreakable holders for high and slow speed handpieces, needle valve to adjust water flow,air/water syringe (included), quik connect for attachment of Venturi suction, an extra outlet for water ti an air-water scaler, a Pressure guage an anti suck back valve, and a nonbreakable holder for suction. The unit can use clean pressurized water. It includes a variable speed foot control ad quick connect to a compressor or a perfectly quiet CO2 bottle. One of It’s unique features that no other unit has, is the placement of the handpieces tilting them backwards. This prevents the dentist from cutting himself on a bloody burr. All other units are are either placed vertically or tilting out, directly exposing the dentist to a possible AIDS infection.
